The Holy Moly

In October, 2012, my husband and I bought an old masonic temple building in Clarksdale, Mississippi. We renamed it "The Holy Moly."
From January 2013, through October 21, 2015, while we were in the U.S.A., we worked on revitalising our building.
We created an ice cream parlour/espresso bar at the corner of Third Street & Issaquena Avenue. (It soon became a fast-food restaurant!)

In June, July, and August, 2014, we ran the shop by ourselves, opening from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.,
seven nights a week! Later we reduced the number of days but lengthened the restaurant's hours to 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
We created apartments on the ground floor (and filled them with tenants).

We set up a vacation rental apartment (also on the ground floor) and listed it on Expedia.com and on VRBO.com at www.vrbo.com/609130.

We refurbished the large masonic temple meeting rooms, creating a theatre with a dining room across the hall, on the second floor.
We redesigned two areas of the second floor to become living-working spaces.
We are now focusing on creating a seasonal theatre business on the second floor, where we hope to host more events that will include live music, story telling, and film presentation.
